And some photos as well!
It's happened. I knew it would. It was only a matter of time before I lost sense of time. Today I asked Joy if it was the 11th. She heartily laughed at me and responded, "It is the 14th of the month of June in the year 2014."
This week flew by. We had lots of visitors over the past few days. Liz, the Alcocks' granddaughter, visited Tuesday through Saturday and brightened everyone up. The week mostly consisted of long hikes and eating tasty treats by the evening fire.
On Tuesday I visited the "booming metropolis" of Greytown. I had a list of things to get but ended up only buying a fresh made, chocolate covered granola triangle. The entire trip I kept wishing, "if only they had a Super Cheap like Thailand." But where Thailand only excels in gin and rum, South Africa offers Scottish whiskey. So I guess that makes it okay for not having Super Cheap. I also tried curried mutton samosas. Yummmm!
But I digress.
Andy and I attempted another climb on the nearby cliffs. It was hard, and not really very fun kind of hard after you move through the crack climbing part. But no complaints on getting out for a nice hike and working the climbing muscles!
Lots of nature spotting this week! Loads of warthog, dassies, impala, kudu, a bufo, and two flap necked chamaeleons hiding in the leaves. The chamaeleons were love at first sight for me with their cute little twirly eyes and zygodactyl toes. For Sarah I named them Rebecca and Sir Jeffers.

Okay well these were the only two that seemed able to upload. My orchid and rock python. Sorry guys.
