Thailand and Beyond

Sawat dee krap!

Welcome to Dan and Courtney's official blog for Thailand along with any and all other adventures!

We will be flying out to Phuket September 18. After six weeks there we plan on returning to the U.S. to seek out jobs. So please wish us luck and please keep in touch with us often about your life and equally exciting adventures back home.

"Jai" in the beautiful language of Thai essentially means mind, soul, or "hua jai" for the literal heart. By adding words in front of "jai" you can make over hundreds of Thai phrases to indicate emotions. For example, saying "Dee jai" can mean to be happy. We will be feeling a lot of different things as we leave home from friends and family to head into a completely new world together. These words of "jai" can help us describe what we are going through along our journey.
